When is the Christmas Village open?
Old Eldon Square, Newcastle upon Tyne – right in the heart of the city centre.
Where is the Christmas Village?
While walk-ups may be possible for some experiences/attractions, we strongly recommend booking online in advance to secure your preferred date and time – especially during weekends and the final days before Christmas.
Do I need to book in advance?
No – entry to the Christmas Village is free, but most attractions and experiences require a ticket.
Is there an entry fee for Christmas Village?
From the towering Big Wheel and charming Carousel to festive food stalls, Marshmallow Land, Mrs Claus’ Bakery, Rockin’ Reindeer live stage, magical Santa Stories, and our cosy Christmas cinema Festive Flix – there’s something for everyone!
What attractions are there?
Yes – the site is accessible, and most attractions are wheelchair-friendly. Please check the individual event pages for any specific accessibility limitations.
Is the Christmas Village wheelchair accessible?
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in outdoor areas. Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the site.
Can I bring my dog?
We are a cashless event – all stalls, attractions, and ticket points accept card payments only.
What payment methods do you accept?
Yes – our on-site Box Office is located in the centre of Old Eldon Square, where you can purchase tickets for all attractions (subject to availability). We still recommend booking online in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
Can I buy tickets on the day?
Yes – several city centre car parks are within walking distance. We also recommend using public transport as we’re well-connected by bus, Metro, and train.

No, unfortunately dogs are not allowed into the tipi at Santa Stories.
Can I bring my dog into the tipi?
Each Santa Stories session lasts approximately 30–35 minutes.
How long does the experience last?
Yes, pre-booking is strongly recommended. Last year every session sold out!
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, every person attending, including adults, must have a valid ticket.
Do adults need a ticket too?
We ask that you don’t take photos during storytime to keep the magic alive, but don’t worry, our professional photographers will capture your child’s special moment with Santa.
Can I take photos inside the Tipi?
It’s ideal for children aged 2–8, but magical for all ages — even the grown-ups.
What age is Santa Stories suitable for?
Yes. Cushioned seating and benches are provided for both children and adults.
Will there be seating inside?
Yes, the Tipi is accessible for wheelchairs and buggies, though space is limited — please let us know in advance if you need extra assistance.
Is the Tipi wheelchair accessible?
We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but entry may not be guaranteed if the session has already started — please arrive 5–10 minutes early.
What if we’re running late?
Santa doesn’t give presents during this experience — instead, every child will receive a personalised Nice List certificate.
Will Santa give out presents?

Yes – spaces are limited and sessions often sell out quickly, so booking ahead is highly recommended.
Do I need to book in advance?
Each session lasts around 20–25 minutes, giving you plenty of time to create your cookie masterpiece.
How long is each screening?
Yes! Little ones, big kids, and grown-ups can all join in the festive fun.
Are the activities suitable for all ages?
Our bakery may be small, but it’s big on festive fun! To make sure there’s room (and cookies!) for everyone, each ticket includes entry for one child and one adult.
Do adults need a ticket too?
Absolutely – capture every sprinkle, smile, and sweet memory!
Can I take photos or videos?
No – the cookies are freshly baked by Mrs Claus before you arrive, ready for decorating.
Will my child be baking the cookies?
Yes – each guest will get to carry their festive creation home.
Can we take our decorated cookies home?
Due to the cosy, compact layout of the bakery cabin, this particular experience isn’t wheelchair accessible. However, all our other Christmas events and venues this year are fully accessible.
Is the bakery wheelchair accessible?
Of course – you’ll be greeted by Mrs Claus herself and her cheery, festive helpers.
Will Mrs Claus and her helpers be in costume?
Yes – the old converted cabin is toasty warm and beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Is the bakery warm and indoors?
We do our best to offer alternatives (i.e gluten free) – please contact us at hello@evntinspirations.co.uk in advance to discuss dietary needs. Please note: products may contain traces of nuts. For safety reasons, we strongly advise against attending if you have a nut allergy.

How long is each show?
Absolutely! Our Rockin’ Reindeer shows are designed for all ages—whether you're bringing toddlers, teens, or the whole family.
Are the shows suitable for all ages?
Yes, every person attending, including adults, must have a valid ticket.
Do adults need a ticket too?
Feel free to take photos during the show! We just ask that you avoid using flash and be mindful not to block others’ views.
Can I take photos or videos?
Yes! There’s a mix of floor seating and benches available—first come, first served. Our team will help you find a comfy spot.
Is seating provided?
Yes, Rockin’ Reindeer is fully accessible. If you have any specific requirements, just let us know when you book.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Late arrivals may be admitted at a suitable break in the show, but we can’t guarantee entry once the performance begins—please arrive early to avoid missing the magic!
What if we’re late?
Yes! Many of our characters will be available for quick photos and high-fives after the performance—don’t forget your camera!
Will we meet the characters after the show?
We don't mid you eating or drinking during the show, we just ask that you be mindful of others and cautious around kids jumping about!

Film durations vary. Most screenings last between 90–120 minutes.
How long is each screening?
Most films are family favourites, but some (like Love Actually) may be better suited to older audiences. Check age ratings before booking.
Are the films suitable for all ages?
Yes – all attendees, regardless of age, require a valid ticket. Tickets are priced per person.
Do adults need a ticket too?
Photography is allowed before and after the screening, but we ask that you don’t film during the film out of respect for others.
Can I take photos or videos?
Yes – seating is available, but we recommend arriving early to get the best spot. Feel free to bring blankets or cushions for extra comfort.
Is seating provided?
Yes – the Rockin’ Reindeer Stage is wheelchair accessible. Please contact us in advance if you have specific access needs.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, late entry may not be possible once the film has started. Refunds cannot be given for missed screenings.
What if we’re late?
Festive Flix is a cinematic experience, not a live stage show. There are no character meet-and-greets, but there’s still plenty of festive fun!
Will there be costumed characters or live shows?
Outside food and drink are not permitted, but a selection of festive snacks and hot drinks will be available at the venue and nearby Christmas huts/stalls.
